Since last November, the exhibition dedicated to Salvador Dali attracts crowds at the Pompidou Center. Agitator and incredibly freed for his time, Dali is an inevitable artist to be remembered. From his famous Soft Watches to his disconcerting Spectra of Sex Appeal, Dali excelled in creating the controversy on numerous society subjects. In this way he breathed life into the desire of change to an entire generation.
The Pompidou Center had already gathered in Paris the work of the surrealist 30 years ago. This year, the exhibition brings the visitor about discovering the flamboyant man which hides behind this polemical art. Through rare documents, we follow the winding path of Dali’s life, finding out both his taste for orgiastic parties and his deep fears.
To welcome thousands of visitors who come in Paris to see the exhibition, the Pompidou Center opens its doors on weekends from 9:30 am. Night-visits are organized every evening except Tuesdays. For your accommodation, book a room in our family hotel located at 20 minutes by foot of the Pompidou Center.
