The Hotel du Nord et de l’Est heartily recommends the visit of the Salvador Dali exhibition which will be held a few more weeks. Almost 200 creations of Spanish artist will be exposed at the Pompidou Center, until March 25th.

The Place of the Republic refurbishment knows new developments. Few weeks ago the creation of a pavilion dedicated to “World and Medias” has been announced. This new socio-cultural project will be constructed on the future pedestrian esplanade.

Edward Hopper was a New Yorker painter, (1882-1967). He is considered today as one of the major representatives of naturalism in the States and a great witness of everyday life in the American middle class. At the beginning of his career he spent nearly a year in Paris painting outdoor city scenes, and drawing Parisian types.
