The Sabater collection on display at the Dali Museum until 10th May – Hôtel du Nord et de l’Est
In the framework of the Signé Dali, la Collection Sabater exhibition, the Paris Dali Museum is unveiling around one hundred works by the Catalan painter. Rarely displayed in public until now, they were given and dedicated by the artist to Enrique Sabater, who for almost 20 years was his friend and secretary.

A collection rarely displayed in public !
A number of personal items, kept by Sabater on the request of the painter, are presented in this new exhibition which looks back on the complicity between the two men and invites visitors into the private world of the mysterious Dali. Drawings, sketches, watercolours, photographs, oil paintings and dedications will be displayed, providing an original perspective on the life and work of the great surrealist painter who died in Figuières in January 1989. The museum which bears his name, situated in the 18th arrondissement of Paris is home to the only permanent exhibition devoted to Salvador Dali in France.
